Two-year starter. All-Sun Belt in 2023. Has a pro body with glimpses of power and athleticism to try and develop. While he will need time to develop his techniques, notably below the waist, the baseline tools are enough to warrant a stash on the practice squad. There are enough traits to work with. Nearly all of his action came at left tackle, but his lack of length and struggles with his footwork could land him at guard when all is said and done. Thomas will not be ready right away but his tools and glimpses of power on the move are worth trying to work with. Stays on his feet. Will be assertive with his hands. Accurate punch to the chest with a flat back. Looks for work and stays aggressive through whistle. Does not keep his feet active after contact. Loses the angle game often. Natural bend is not there and will often lose leverage battle. Needs to get more consistent with lower body overall, as his length limits him.
