One-year starter. Began career at Louisiana from 2020 through 2021, where he was a backup (113 carries over that span). Transferred to TCU prior to 2022. Sat behind two eventual NFL backs in his first season with the Horned Frogs (Kendre Miller & Emari Demercado) but flashed with a conference-leading eight yards per carry. Once he earned the feature-back role in 2023, he proved he was more than just a flash. He is a quick-burst, one-cut runner who can put his foot in the ground and explode to his top speed in an instant. Plays an aggressive, downhill style with the ability to cut late. That running style produces yards after contact at a consistent clip, as he was top ten nationally in missed tackles forced. Will be a dependable complement to a true number one back that brings energy and persona to a running game. Has ability to create on his own. Anticipates spacing and angles. Can stop and go with sharp turns and cuts. Easy acceleration and deceleration. Hungry runner, picks up hidden yards. Excellent hands, caught 47 of 52 career targets. Will stick his nose in there as a blocker. Physical, tough teammate. Does not carry a lot of weight and has a frame that appears maxed out. Does not have the next gear to lengthen separation in the open field. Just one year of consistent, sizable usage. Does not push piles. Has a lot of all or nothing to his game. Blocking impact will be limited by lack of length.
