Ourlads' Profile:
2024 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about ANDREW COKER:
TCU | HT: 6067 | WT: 315 | 40 time: 5.36 | Arm: 3400 | Hand: 0912 | Wing: 8100
Four-year starter. All-Big 12 in 2023 and 2022. Coker is a massive power blocker that brings the heat with his hands when his lower body is in the right position. What he lacks in finesse is partially made up for in sheer size and difficulty to get around. He is sudden enough to get into the right position post-snap and if the initial contact is balanced and accurate, he can stay between the defender and the ball carrier. The baseline athleticism is poor, however. He does not adjust well to speed and low-to-ground pass rushers, making him vulnerable to counter moves. His issues could be hidden inside, but his vast experience has been almost all on the outside. Coker has the play strength and size to develop, but it comes down to how much he can improve his quickness and reaction skills. Long arms that he utilizes well. Can maintain lockout as he slides his feet. Experienced and aware of what is going on around him. Does not overset, will stay square. Has a lot of good tape in pass protection. Inconsistent brand across the board. Will lose knee bend and play too top heavy. Abandons technique. Needs to get hips more involved to maximize his power in the running game.
