Four-year starter. All-Pac 12 in 2023 and 2022. One of ten siblings, Bills made a name for himself in high school on the defensive side of the ball. He converted to full time offensive line play upon arriving to Utah. After a redshirt year, Bills went on to start at left guard. All but one of his 2,624 snaps came at that spot. He is a well put-together athlete with size, strength, and flexibility. He makes it look good, notably in pass protection. This is a smart player who plays upright and balanced and could work his way into a starting role in time. There are a few tendencies he needs to fix, and his athletic upside is capped, but the tools are there. Natural knee bender with control and balance. Can square a defender up with inside hands. Finds multiple ways to win the leverage battle. Eyes are disciplined. Can pass off defenders and forecast what is coming his way. Rarely knocked off his point. Anchor plays strong. Gets too high out of his stance as a run blocker. Needs to clean up footwork post-snap. Will take poor angles. Sudden redirect against speed is a problem. Does not always hit his points at the second level and will have a hard time adjusting his weight in space. Athleticism is limited.
