Ourlads' Profile:
2024 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about ANDREW RAYM:
Oklahoma | HT: 6036 | WT: 315 | 40 time: 5.42 | Arm: 3178 | Hand: 0978 | Wing: 7858
Three-year starter. All-Big 12 three straight seasons. Made the move to center in year two and never looked back. Raym plays the position the right way, showing consistent techniques with his hands and feet. The question will be whether or not he can handle NFL size and power in the trenches and how much he can improve there. His athleticism and intelligence are NFL ready, but he will initially project as a backup with a long term potential for more. The lack of space available on his frame could make it difficult for him to make the strength gains that are needed. If he can be protected, however, the positives to his game can raise the floor. Technically sound blocker that slides his feet to mirror his man. Lateral movement comes easy. Excels at getting his hands up fast post-snap with inside position and low base. Keeps the feet active after contact and will get his hips on the right side of the defender. Stays on his feet and fights through the whistle. Can re-anchor. Recovers well and gets every inch out of himself. Gets caught overextending himself at the second level. Does not have the anchor to consistently hold the point. Lacks the power to push off the line. Needs to show more grip strength.
OSR:49/50. Draft projection: 5th-7th round
