Four-year starter. First-team All-Mountain West in 2023. Crum is an experienced and explosive blocker with a pro-frame. He will need to add some bulk and sheer power over a year or two, but the studs to his playstyle promote the idea of him someday being a usable swing tackle. Players with this kind of height and leggy frame often struggle with balance and control. Crum does struggle there from time to time, but he has shown signs of improvement over the years and his physical profile keeps the ceiling high. Athletic with a wide frame gives him a lot of range as a blocker. Zone blocking schemes can utilize his pop off the snap and ability to get across defenders in a hurry. Productive run blocker. Uses long-arm techniques to get his hands on first. Has enough current twitch to work with. Can bend well but does not win leverage battle consistently. Will struggle to maintain lateral adjustment speed after engagement. Needs to add stability to his lower half, as there are far too many plays that end with him on the ground. Will hinge from waist and overset.
