Three-year starter. Three-time All-MEAC selection with first-team honors in each of the past two seasons. Aligned at left tackle with a mixture of two-point and three-point stances. Massive offensive tackle prospect with an elite height/weight ratio, humongous wingspan, and incredibly large frame. Moves surprisingly well for a player who is 360+ pounds. In zone blocking schemes, he uproots defensive linemen and drives them off their spot with brute strength and power. Uses powerful hands and great functional strength to overpower and shove defensive linemen into the dirt. Powerful in pass protection and can knock defensive linemen off balance with his strong initial punch. Impressive agility when dropping to his set point in pass protection with quick feet to adjust to different moves. He stalemates bullrushes using his massive size. Shoots his hands outside too often exposing his chest. Can get flat-footed on his punch allowing edge rushers to go around him. Naturally plays with a high stance due to his size which causes him to get off-balance. When climbing, he struggles to latch onto second and third level defenders due to tightness in his waist and change-of-direction deficiencies. His high pad level affects his ability to get push off the line-of-scrimmage especially in gap-run schemes. Struggles to adjust when edge rushers slant inside of him. On sprint-outs, he cannot be relied upon to control his inside gap with extreme flexibility issues when redirecting his weight. A developmental prospect with the tools and athleticism to succeed.
