Boise State | HT: 5103 | WT: 208 | 40 time: 4.52 | Arm: 2934 | Hand: 0934 | Wing: 7238
Five-year starter. All-Mountain West in 2022 and 2019. Will leave Boise State as a top five rusher in program history. Three out of his first four years, he was the number one guy. Has battled multiple lower body injuries over that span which has forced him to miss some action, including six games in 2023. He returned intra-season from them all. Has been a focal point of that offense for a long time because the sum of his parts contributed consistently across the board. He is the kind of back a team wants on the back end of the depth chart because of the number of things he can do in a backup role. Footwork is clean, as he keeps them active and high off the ground through contact and traffic while staying square to his destination. Vision and fast decision making will gain him the angle advantages. Hungry, intelligent style sets up his blockers well. Does not have elite speed or burst. Durability is a valid concern. Does not have the late shake to avoid the meat of a hit consistently. Will need to improve his blocking and receiving skill set in order to offset his limited ceiling as a rusher.
2023 Stats: 748 yds, 5.6 ypc, 7 TD. OSR:13/23. Draft projection: 5th-7th round
