A natural athlete with quick feet in his back pedal and fluid hips to open up. Solid at identifying route concepts in front of him from depth. Triggers with notable burst when the ball leaves the quarterback’s hands. Physical with receivers in man coverage and will fight with them throughout the route. Uses his speed to stay in-phase downfield on vertical routes. Gets his hands in the way of passes to break them up when facing the quarterback and when turned away. Soars downhill with effort and desire to make an impact in run support. Adds value as a blitzer off the edge. Multiple mental errors in coverage that allowed explosive plays. Let receivers run by him as the single-high defender. Gets stuck staring in the backfield on deep passing concepts and does not position himself well. Struggles to sink his pads in transition.
