2020 Guide: What Ourlads' Scouting Services said about JUSTIN HERRON: Wake Forest, 6035 308 5.31. Four-year starter, Silver Spring, MD. Missed all of 2018 with a knee injury. A two-time third-team All ACC selection. Herron is a quality athlete who played left tackle from the start of his career. He will make a move inside at the next level. Has some strength and power tools to work with. Shows violence and pop off the snap. Will do damage with his initial contact. Gets his hands inside with good accuracy and drive. Has spent time in the weight room and it shows. Hips can open without a hitch in either direction. Will stay patient in pass protection, doesn’t over-commit. Shows good reaction time at the second level against linebackers. Gets solid contact on defenders in space. Played out of position in college, will have to move inside in the NFL. Knee bend is inconsistent. Gets high at times. Foot placement is either too narrow or too wide. OSR:28/41. Seventh round/PFA. (A-33 1/2, H-9 1/8, BP-27, 10-1.83).
