Ourlads' Profile:
2024 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about KINGSLEY EGUAKUN:
Florida | HT: 6034 | WT: 304 | 40 time: 5.25 | Arm: 3212 | Hand: 1018 | Wing: 8014
Three-year starter. Eguakun is a better athlete than football player at the moment and most of his 2023 season was lost to an ankle injury. He needs to further his development as a technician, but his talent alone is worth taking a chance on. There is enough for teams that like to move their centers laterally into space to gamble on. He plays fast and aggressive, but simply does not have enough cleanliness and repeatability yet. If he can scratch the surface of his physical potential, he can stick as a quality backup. Active feet and hands post snap. Does a good job keeping himself twitchy and ready to pounce. Violent hand striker that will try to roll his hips into the defender. Good size for the position with balanced, well-distributed mass and strength. Gets to his spots at the second level. Can get across the three-tech and swing his hips in the hole. Footwork is on point in the running game. Will get too high and lose his anchor in pass protection. Techniques in pass protection lack control and consistency. Hands are often inaccurate and lead to penalties. Has been flagged 31 times over the last 30 games. All but nine snaps were at center.
Draft projection: 5th-7th round
