A press corner who rarely gives up leverage. Consistent with an off-hand jam. Good agility in a short space. Mirrors cuts well but can get separated at times. Occasionally shows an extra step in transition creating separation. Has good recovery ability to get back in phase. Flips his hips and makes up ground reacting to double moves. Effective in short zones. For the most part stays in phase on deep vertical routes. At times against speed receivers he is in catch up mode more than you like. Good eye discipline, keeping focused on receiver in man and playing the hands. Times pass break well. Solid in zone coverage reading multiple routes in a zone and playing up to the short route. Occasionally gives too big of a cushion in outside zones and is vulnerable on an intermediate route. Shows a sudden break and drive on the throw in front of him. Normally very good against the quick game allowing nothing after a catch. Uses his hands to play off blocks.
