Ourlads' Profile:
2015 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about ERIC ROWE: Utah, 6006 205 4.44. Four-year starter from Spring, TX. A versatile safety and corner combination athlete. A solid zone player who has good awareness and diagnose ability. Shows good hip flexibility to turn his hips and transition in coverage with very little wasted motion. A strong run support safety with a physical style as a face up wrap tackler. Has good lateral quickness. Rowe had a good week at the Senior Bowl practices playing both safety and corner. Excelled at jamming and rerouting a receiver’s release in a Cover 2 alignment. Good ball skills. Strong going up competing for the ball with a receiver. Good hands to secure the ball. A long framed safety/cornerback combination athlete that teams covet. It could be argued that with three safeties on the field in today’s NFL, the safety and corner positions are equally important. A safety with corner skills is always in demand. Has good upside based on measurables, but will need pro position skill development. Graded out as the most athletic defensive back at the Combine. Good size, quick feet, leaping ability, and good arm length. Could start out as a press corner but free safety may be his home. 2014 stats: 59 T, 1 INT, 13 PBU. BTR:left 4.72, right DNP. OSR:1/ 31. Fourth/fifth round. (A-32 1/2, H-9 1/2, VJ-39, SS-3.97).
