COLLEGE FOOTBALL PICKS (WEEK 14)

Ourlads’ Football Network host Greg DePalma and Athlon managing editor Mitch Light get together each Thursday to analyze top matchups on the week’s college football schedule and make predictions. Catch OFN College Weekly for their full exchange.

* denotes featured play

No.1 ALABAMA (12-0) vs. No.4 GEORGIA (11-1)

Site: SEC Championship, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta.

Kickoff: 4 p.m. TV: CBS. Line: Alabama by 13 ½.

Greg: *Georgia. Mitch: *Georgia.

Greg says: “Georgia is playing great. I love the points in this game. I do not believe in any way that Georgia is going to lose by double digits, unless it’s by a late score. I think this game’s going to be just like (last year’s CFP) Championship game. I think this game’s going to be back and forth.”

No.2 CLEMSON (12-0) vs. PITTSBURGH (7-5)

Site: ACC Championship, Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, N.C.

Kickoff: 8 p.m. TV: ABC. Line: Clemson by 27 ½.

Greg: *Clemson. Mitch: Clemson.

Greg says: “If this was just another game I might think differently, especially the way Clemson’s played down the stretch. But now this is, as Dabo (Swinney) said, kind of like a playoff game. I expect Clemson to come out murdering Pitt.”

No.6 OHIO ST. (11-1) vs. No.21 NORTHWESTERN (8-4)

Site: Big Ten Championship, Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis.

Kickoff: 8 p.m. TV: FOX. Line: Ohio State by 14.

Greg: *Northwestern. Mitch: *Northwestern.

Mitch says: “I don’t know if I trust Ohio State to put together back-to-back games. And Northwestern – they’re not a great team, but they’re not a bad team. We all know they went 0-3 nonconference and the Big Ten West isn’t great. But to go 8-1 down the stretch in the Big Ten, you’ve got to be doing something right.”

No.8 UCF (11-0) vs. MEMPHIS (8-4)

Site: AAC Championship, Spectrum Stadium, Orlando, Fla.

Kickoff: 3:30 p.m. TV: ABC. Line: UCF by 3.

Greg: UCF. Mitch: UCF.

Mitch says: “I haven’t been behind this Memphis team all year. They haven’t beaten anyone. Winning at SMU is nice, then beating Houston is fine with (UH’s) backup quarterback. … I just don’t trust this team. UCF has the better roster; they have the better team.”
