FIRST ROUND MOCK DRAFT (25-32)
25 Minnesota CB Jeff Gladney, TCU
Option 2 CB Jaylon Johnson, Utah
The Vikings like cornerbacks and they need to start adding some.
26 Miami RB D’Andre Swift, Georgia
Option 2 RB J.K. Dobbins, Ohio State
The Dolphins were pathetic rushing the ball last season and will most certainly draft a running back early.
27 Seattle CB Trevon Diggs, Alabama
Option 2 CB A.J. Terrell, Clemson
Seattle needs to find their next top corner and there are still several good players left on the list.
28 Baltimore LB Kenneth Murray, Oklahoma
Option 2 C Cesar Ruiz, Michigan
This pick should come down to a run-stuffing middle linebacker or a center. LB Patrick Queen is another possibility.
29 Tennessee OT Austin Jackson, USC
Option 2 OLB K’Lavon Chaisson, LSU
Jackson would be a good replacement for Jack Conklin. But also keep an eye on edge rushers like Chaisson & Zack Baun. CB Jaylon Johnson is available here and would be a good fit too now that Logan Ryan has departed.
30 Green Bay LB Patrick Queen, LSU
Option 2 WR Chase Claypool, Notre Dame
The Packers need a good, young inside linebacker and Queen would make sense here. They also need to add another receiver and Claypool has the size the Packers covet at the position.
31 San Francisco DT Ross Blacklock, TCU
Option 2 WR Denzel Mims, Baylor
Blacklock would replace the loss of Buckner.
32 Kansas City CB Jaylon Johnson, Utah
Option 2 CB Trevon Diggs, Alabama
The Chiefs need to replace Kendall Fuller.
