OFN NFL MOCK DRAFT
Here is a look at our mock draft for the 2020 season broken down into four parts and starting with picks, one through eight.
This mock is based on what we feel each team will do – without trades – thanks to countless hours of research, interviews with top analysts/insiders and more.
The secondary options are basically a second mock draft scenario.
Make sure to tune in to our draft preview reports including for Carolina, Detroit, Miami and New York.

FIRST ROUND MOCK DRAFT (1-8)
1 Cincinnati QB Joe Burrow, LSU
Option 2 QB Joe Burrow, LSU
Lock and load.
2 Washington DE Chase Young, Ohio State
Option 2 DE Chase Young, Ohio State
With all the talk of trading up to get a top QB, one must wonder whether the Redskins will get a deal they cannot turn down for Young. He is that good.
3 Detroit DT Derrick Brown, Auburn
Option 2 CB Jeff Okudah, Ohio State
Both the defensive line and backfield are equally in need of talent. But since it all starts up front, we will go with Brown over Okudah.
4 New York OT Mekhi Becton, Louisville
Option 2 OT Tristan Wirfs, Iowa
By now, you should be aware of G.M. Dave Gettleman’s affinity for large football players, no matter the position. He shocked everyone last year by going with Daniel Jones, so why should we be shocked if he took Becton? The Giants are so desperate for offensive line help that I just cannot see them passing on one for Isaiah Simmons.
5 Miami OT Tristan Wirfs, Iowa
Option 2 OLB Isaiah Simmons, Clemson
After speaking with Dolphins analyst, Alain Poupart, I am sold the team will end up waiting past their first draft pick to land a quarterback. Especially since they have the capital to move back up and take either a sliding Tua or Jordan Love.
6 Los Angeles QB Justin Herbert, Oregon
Option 2 QB Tua Tagovailoa, Alabama
With the move to a new stadium and a dire need at quarterback...
7 Carolina CB Jeff Okudah, Ohio State
Option 2 DT Derrick Brown, Auburn
I feel the same about the Panthers the way I do with Detroit.
8 Arizona OLB Isaiah Simmons, Clemson
Option 2 OT Andrew Thomas, Georgia
Even after re-signing left tackle D.J. Humphries, the Cardinals need more talent up front, but if Simmons falls here, I think the Cards will pounce.
