Ourlads' Profile:
2022 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about REGGIE ROBERSON JR.:
SMU, 5110 192 4.40. Four-year starter, DeSoto, TX. Transferred from West Virginia after his freshman season and began contributing immediately. Undersized in terms of height and weight, with good arm length. Shows the ability to accelerate quickly and matched with his foot speed makes him a potential vertical threat. Solid ability to stem on routes away from the line of scrimmage. Soft hands at the catch point. Solid functional strength he can pick up some yards by driving his feet on contact and pushing through defenders. First year playing after an ACL injury and didn’t have the same juice as a year ago. Lacks explosiveness on his release, takes him a while to get going. Fringe foot quickness and change of direction when stemming routes back towards line of scrimmage. At this point route breaks are a little slower than before his ACL injury. Struggles to adjust body to come back for underthrown balls. Lacks the physicality to consistently win contested catches. Lack of both explosiveness and physicality is concerning. Has shown solid return skill and could be a late round value pick.
2021 stats: 51-625, 12.3 ypr, 6 TD. Seventh round/PFA. (A-32 5/8, H-9 1/2, VJ-29, SS-4.24).
