South Carolina, 5114 206 4.56. Six-game starter, Cape Coral, FL. Spent two years at Florida State where he moved from running back to linebacker in 2018. Transferred to Iowa Western Community College for 2019, playing running back again, prior to his final destination at South Carolina for the past two seasons. He also saw the field as a linebacker and on special teams. That kind of proven, both-sides-of-the-ball versatility will be a draw late in the draft. He is a valuable gameday piece when it comes to finding back-end guys that wear a lot of hats. Has big play potential as a ball carrier. His ability to cut back and burst is upper tier. There is not a lot of feel or pure power, but his fiery and aggressive nature will be a favorite of coaches. Explosive cutback runner with some size and extra room on his frame to add bulk. Aggressive runner who can create the big play on his own. Will make defenders miss and gets everything he can out of runs in space. Gets through a crowd. Exposes weak tackle attempts with a simple shrug and go. Shows upside as a receiver. Gets to the ball away from his body and runs crisp routes. Needs to keep his pad level lower to the ground. Gets out of phase with run schemes and is a bit of a freelancer. Fails to run successfully in situations where a few sure yards are needed. Will drop the easy balls as a receiver, hands get stiff.
