Marable is a dual threat with fringe speed and quickness. He looks like he is moving on ice skates when he finds space with defenders approaching. Isn’t nearly as effective between the tackles but he can make guys miss and run away from the defense if he gets a crease. There is a lot he can for an offense but the size limitations will keep him from every down duty. Short in height but has good thickness for his frame. Not a small back, can pack some punch. Keeps the feet tapping and will stay square to his intended lane. Adjusts well and moves with elite balance. A threat in multiple ways. Had 69 catches over his final two years in addition to leading the team in rushing over his three seasons as the team’s top back. Also filled in as a part time kick returner. Doesn’t push piles. Will run light on contact, doesn’t put his head down aggressively. Little too much dancing, needs to be more decisive. Undersized blocker that doesn’t stay on his man. Needs better ball security techniques. 2020 stats: 887 yds, 5.3 ypc, 12 TD, 31 rec, 228 yds, 7.4 ypr, 7 TD. Seventh round/PFA. (A-29 1/2, H-9, BP-17, SS-4.34).
