Ourlads' Profile:
2019 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about LAMONT GAILLARD: Georgia, 6025 305 5.40. Fifth year senior and three year starter from Fayetteville, NC. After high school spent a year as a top tier defensive tackle prospect. Made the transition to the offensive line in the spring of 2015. He made one final move to center prior to 2017 and ended up earning first-team All SEC honors as a senior. The experienced team captain is a top notch power blocker who will push around pro interior linemen right away. His strong base and bear paw hands combine to neutralize defenders at any size consistently but his ability to move and adjust in space are limited. He is a one dimensional blocker that can have his weaknesses hidden at center if schemed properly. Makes thick guys look like they are on Weight Watchers. Tree trunk legs, tree trunk torso, tree trunk arms. A boulder that happens to play center. Stout doesn’t do him justice. Gets plenty of push and movement off the snap, especially in the running game. A weapon on the middle of the offensive line. Blue collar, old school approach that is refreshing to watch. Wants to send his man into the stands every play. Big and angry hands that he keeps inside. Mean, physical, aggressive. Smart and heady player who can handle pre snap responsibilities. Cuts off defenders to the immediate gap on either shoulder. Quick twitch isn’t there. Did not work out at Combine. Third/fourth round. (A-33 1/2, H-10 3/8, BP-DNP, 10-DNP).
