He is a no-nonsense type player that is almost always the last one blocking when the whistle blows. His high energy, blue collar style is refreshing to watch. A five-for-one player who can fit in as needed in an emergency. He projects as an eventual starter. Has the look of a nightclub bouncer. Wide chest with big shoulders and big hands. An upper-body dominant blocker who will attack defenders with his hands. Sticks to them and won’t stop driving until his man is on the ground. Has had more than his fair share of pancake blocks. Maintains a wide and sturdy base with good balance and knee bend. Fights to get inside position and will fight even harder to maintain it. Produces good secondary power from his hips, rolls them into the defender. Good body positioning and control. Size, most notably length, is going to be an issue against bigger NFL defensive tackles. Struggles in space at the second level. Stops his feet in pass protection. Has a limit to how long he will sustain quality contact in pass protection. Medical exclusion at Combine - left hamstring.
