Ourlads' Profile:

2017 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about ZACH BANNER: Southern Cal, 6083 361 5.60. Three-year starter at right tackle from Tacoma, WA. First-team All-Pac 12 in 2016. Had a cup of tea with the school’s basketball team in 2013 but never saw playing time on the hardwood. Underwent surgery midway through the 2013 football season for both of his hips but was able to grab hold of the starting job at the beginning of 2014. Needs to show more consistent footwork but there is enough quickness and range to factor as a quality edge blocker. His presence as a straight ahead run blocker can be elite. Has come a long way technique-wise and is evolving into an equally gifted and skilled player who has been playing in an NFL-type offense. Struggles with speed and leverage defenders, but the frame alone is enough to get him a second look. If his lower body flexibility and agility can improve just a little, there is a high upside here. Son of former NFL lineman Lincoln Kennedy. Senior Bowl notes: A huge man who plays high with a slight knee bend. Not quick-footed but absorbs edge pass rushers with his long arms. He is hard to run around. Plays best as a run blocker with power straight ahead. OSR:30/41. Fourth/fifth round. (A-33 5/8, H-10 3/4, BP-22, 10-1.94).
