Ourlads' Profile:
2015 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about CAMERON ARTIS-PAYNE: Auburn, 5096 212 4.47. One-year starter from Harrisburg, PA. Led the SEC in rushing in 2014. Runs with a battering ram style. Runs well between the tackles with a combination of quickness and power. He was thought to be part of a running back by committee in 2014, but he absolutely took off and produced at such a high level that Auburn continued to feed him the ball. His running style is best suited between the tackles, as he can take advantage of a worn down defense with his ability to get off tacklers. He is limited when it comes to blocking and receiving, but he can be part of a committee type backfield. Rarely taken down upon initial contact. Good vision in the open field, can set defenders up and cuts at the right time. Can stick his foot in the ground and burst. Quick acceleration. Runs with a low pad level and keeps his feet moving after contact is made. Good balance and body control. Lacks breakaway speed once in the open field. Played in a very running back-friendly system. Struggles to locate cutback lanes when his initial read is clogged. Won’t create on his own. 2014 stats: 1608 yds, 5.3 ypc, 13 TD, 13 rec, 147 yds. OSR:9/34. No lifting or shuttle, his choice. Fourth/fifth round. (A- 29 5/8, H-8 7/8, BP-DNP, SS-DNP).
