Ourlads' Profile:
2019 Guide: What Ourlads' Scouting Services said about KEENEN BROWN: Texas State, 6024 250 4.75. One year starter from Houston, TX. Transferred from Oklahoma State. The Bobcats’ leading receiver who at times looked like a man playing with boys. Recruited out of high school as a wide receiver. Texas State tried to find different ways to get Brown the ball to use his talent and ability. As a freshman he was red-shirted. Then suffered a Lisfranc sprain as a sophomore. After gaining 30 pounds, he moved to H-back before transferring. He is a physical blocker and shows some shock with his hands. Can set the edge of the defense or block corner support. Has a good catching radius, long arms and big hands for the position. Easy catcher in his strong soft hands. Can separate this level from linebackers. Shows a burst, good change of direction, and agility. Next level projects to be an H-back. 2018 stat: 51-577, 11.3 ypr, 5 TD. OSR:19/23. Seventh round/PFA. (A-34 1/2, H-9 7/8, VJ-33, SS-4.51).
