Ourlads' Profile:
2017 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about CHANNING STRIBLING: Michigan, 6012 188 4.58. One-year as a full time starter from Matthews, NC. Started 18 of 47 career games. Second-team All-Big 10. Received starts at both right and left corner for the Wolverines and led the team in interceptions and passes broken up. Played a lot of press man and hard corner coverage. Good technique with a fluid turn and run. Does a good job with initial leverage. Ignores the first move away from his leverage and takes away the inside. Good ball skills and can cut off a receiver working to the ball. Plays the man and can lock out a vertical route. Plays a lot faster than timed speed. He has the speed to stay in phase on vertical routes and has made some nice downfield interceptions. Needs to react more quickly to cuts. He can get separated at times on a cut. Prone to double moves as he anticipates rather than reacts. Not a consistently aggressive run defender at this point. Shrine Game notes: Tall slender corner with good deep speed. Tough to throw over on vertical routes. Was best in press man during the week – a coverage he played for the Wolverines. A good technique athlete with a fluid turn and run. He will get lost on cuts at times. Could be more physical tackling and taking on blocks. 2016 stats: 28 T, 3 TFL, 1 sack, 17 PBU, 4 INT. BTR:left 5.07, right 5.27. OSR:35/35. Fifth/sixth round. (A-31 1/2, H-8 1/2, VJ-31.5, SS-4.24).
