Long arms and big hands for the position. A 2015 All-MAC first-team performer. Has the athletic ability to play right tackle but needs technique work from nuts to bolts. A pusher not a popper in pass protection. Must consciously work to bend his knees because he is so high cut with his long legs. A position wall off blocker who can turn a defender outside to create an inside running lane. Lacks a leverage power presence. Question his feel and football instincts for the position. Appears to be thinking too much instead of just playing. Hand placement is inconsistent to control a pass rusher. Gives up a lot of pressures by defenders pressuring inside and outside him.
