Ourlads' Profile:
2018 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about JEFF BADET: Oklahoma, 5111 183 4.27. Two-year starter from Orlando, FL. Played in 48 games in his career. Graduate transfer from Kentucky. The big play slot receiver has elite top end speed that can take the top off of the defense or take a drag route for big yardage. Smooth accelerator in the open field. Runs away from defenders with ease. Can track the deep ball in flight. Makes solid adjustments on under thrown balls, could have scored more at Kentucky if so many passes weren’t behind him. Very dangerous run after catch ability, especially with open field. Threat to score any time he touches the ball in any kind of space. Very effective in East-West Shrine Game on simple drag routes. Showed some flashes as a kick returner. Doesn’t have great vision, almost as if he can’t harness his speed yet. Mostly successful on go routes. Will have to get better route strength for the physicality of NFL defensive backs. Didn’t have great production in college. Was limited to a big play only guy. Overall he has elite top tier speed and acceleration boasting a 4.27/40. Better athlete than wide receiver right now, but has a high ceiling given elite athletic ability. He is a home run threat operating out of the slot and has special teams’ abilities to give him time on NFL rosters to develop. 2017 stats: 26- 400, 15.4 ypr, 3 TD. Not invited to Combine. Fifth/sixth round. (A-31 1/4, H-8 1/2, VJ-39.5, SS-4.54).
