It isn't close. For one stop shopping, Ourlads' Draft Guide, depth charts, and newsletters are top drawer. Oh, I forgot – you have the most informative Draft Review book
John, United Kingdom, 11/16/09
I have purchased the Ourlads' Guide for the past six years and I appreciate the "steak" that you bring to the table, not the "sizzle" others try to sell
Robert, Cleveland, OH 11/15/09
My uncle got me the newsletters back in '93 or '94. It was excellent! I still remember you guys had WR Jimmy Smith as a sleeper when no one else talked about him
Matt, Milwaukee, WI 1/18/10

I was a long-time College Football Preview subscriber and I first came across Ourlads' in 1988 in College Football Preview. Dan did a good job with that Preview - looking forward to Ourlads'.

Keith - Falls Church, VA
To all the great scouts at Ourlads' - received your Draft Scouting Guide - it is outstanding!
Ron - Dallas, TX
I do like your books better than others I have seen. I used to subscribe to Palmer Hughes way back when. Then I would get the Pro Football Weekly Draft Preview, which was basically the work of Joel Buchsbaum. He had quite an eye for NFL future talent. After his untimely death, the ratings of the players have become very erratic. I like to look after the draft and then after the first season for the rookies and see how things went. Your evaluations are superior by comparison. I really like the guide overall and will continue to subscribe. Keep up the good work !

I just received my 2005 Ourlads' NFL Draft in the mail today and I wanted to drop you a short note to tell you how much I enjoy your service. As a subscriber for the last 14 years, I've had the desire to tell you that I and my fellow draft experts consider your guide to be the best in the business. I devoured your current issue during my lunch break. I always enjoy comparing your picks with mine as to the actual picks made by the individual teams to see who got the most right. In either case, I will continue to purchase and enjoy your guide every year.
Stephen - Miami, FL
Enclosed is a check for the 2005 Draft Guide. Please keep up the good work. I think you do an awesome job. Maybe sometime in the future you could also publish a picture of some of the prospects along with their review. That is one feature I would enjoy.
Howard - Oshkosh, WI
As a long-time subscriber, I was glad to hear you on Mighty 1090. That station is heard by 10-15 million people. Coach John Kentera and "Philly" Billy Werndl (Ourlads' alumni) always have Ourlads on and it's great. Keep up your great work - Go Chargers!
James - Chula Vista, CA
I really enjoy reading your scouting service information. It's an outstanding book on evaluating young prospects going into the NFL. Thank you! Jemal - Tehachapi, CA
I have been meaning to throw you guys a compliment. I follow the NFL Draft and College Football very closely and watch about 30 hours of game tape a week, and frankly, with all of the websites I've visited I've been most impressed with Ourlads. It's not that I necessarily agree with everything, but more so because your people give a straightforward, honest opinion on players and don't just spew out homerish analysis or copy/paste from other publications. It's refreshing to be blunt. Keep up the good work. You guys have certainly helped me to clear many reference sites out of my favorites' folder that I used for depth charts and to get another opinion on a player I'm watching.
Matthew - Cincinnati, OH
The various draft services tend to fall into one of two categories: evaluators vs. forecasters. Let me use Kiper and Ourlads to illustrate my point. Ourlads are evaluators. They (the lads) spread out and go to games. They are scouts. And they cover every all-star and bowl game and send us a running commentary on the many players. Post season is considered valuable because it's the best versus the best. And it shows more about the individual than regular season games do. I use Ourlads and other evaluators to tell me who WE should take. They don't focus on who we will take, but on who is best for us. That's why they will have a lower % of matches than the forecasters. But they give you the goods. Kiper is a forecaster. He does little actual personal evaluation of talent, relying on what he can glean from coaches, scouts, writers, players, etc. He compiles all of this with a wealth of stats and awards, etc. He, and other forecasters tell me who the OTHER guys are gonna pick. And he does a good job of doing what he does. And the Kipers will show a better % on the forecast stats.it's what they do. Two basically different functions, but both have their place.

I really appreciate your publications and your website. I will be renewing my subscription. I've also enjoyed listening to Dan Shonka during his Wednesday chats with Bill Lewis of KDUS radio, Phoenix. Hope to hear Dan next year with the 2006 draft.
Michael - Phoenix, AZ
My sense is that Ourlads will only get better. Your new website and publications are phenomenal. As a certifiable college recruiting and NFL Draftnik - I rely heavily on your work. I find it accurate, unbiased, and extremely relevant. In contrast to other draft guides, Ourlads is devoid of distracting advertisements. In short, I pay for an information service. In return I get information. Pretty amazing.
Edward - North Wales, PA
Ourlads' is clearly the Bible of the NFL Draft. Thanks guys!
Paul - Dumont, NJ
As a longtime Ourlads' subscriber, it's high time I told you that you're the best in the business.

You should hold your Seahawk fan customers close, it hasn't been an easy existence. But being an Ourlads' subscriber for several years has given us something to look forward to every month.
