NO.25 BOISE ST. (10-3) VS. OREGON (7-5)

Site: Sam Boyd Stadium, Las Vegas.

Kickoff: 3:30 p.m. TV: ABC.

Line: Oregon by 7.

All-time series: Boise State leads 2-0.

Last meeting: Boise State 19, Oregon 8 (2009).

BOISE STATE

Coach: Bryan Harsin (4th season, 41-12; overall 5th season, 48-17).

All-time postseason: 11-6.

Last postseason appearance: Lost to Baylor 31-12 in 2016 Cactus Bowl.

Draft spotlight: WR Cedrick Wilson. The All-Mountain West selection led Bronco receivers with 65 catches and 1,142 yards along with six TDs. That made him just the third BSU receiver in history to top 1,000 yards in back-to-back years. Despite facing routine double coverage, Wilson still managed four 100-yard receiving games.

Other Broncos to watch: TE Jake Roh, OT Archie Lewis, C Mason Hampton, *LB Leighton Vanderesch.

Bronco Dust: Boise State is making its 16th consecutive bowl appearance, tied with Wisconsin for No.6 among active streaks. LSU is next on the list with 18 straight. … The Broncos are 11-6 against Pac-12 schools since 2004, including 4-1 since Harsin became head coach.

OREGON

Coach: Mario Cristobal (UO debut, previously 27-47 in 6 seasons at FIU).

All-time postseason: 13-17.

Last postseason appearance: Lost to TCU 47-41 (OT) in 2015 Alamo Bowl.

Draft spotlight: OT Tyrell Crosby. After a solid season as the starting right tackle in 2015, Crosby missed most of 2016 with a foot injury. Switched to the left side for 2017, all eyes were on him to see if it was a spot he could project to in the NFL. Mario Cristobal has stated that Crosby was among the best he’s worked with. Duck Tales: Cristobal steps into the vacancy created when Willie Taggart left to become Florida State’s new coach. The Ducks actually got in three bowl practices with Taggart before the change. … Under new defensive coordinator Jim Leavitt, Oregon went from No.115 in total defense last year to 39th.
