Line: Iowa by 2 ½.

All-time series: First meeting.

IOWA

Coach: Kirk Ferentz (19th season, 142-97).

All-time postseason: 14-15-1.

Last postseason appearance: Lost to Florida 30-3 in 2016 Outback Bowl.

Draft spotlight: MLB Josey Jewell. Consensus All-American led the Hawkeyes in tackles each of the past two years, including 124 last season as he was named a Butkus Award finalist. Quickness and speed allows him to make plays sideline to sideline, and he has high football IQ and leadership skills.

Other Hawkeyes to watch: RB Akrun Wadley, OG Sean Welsh, *CB Josh Jackson, SS Miles Taylor.

Hawkeye Fodder: A bowl victory would move Ferentz alongside Hayden Fry atop the Hawkeyes’ all-time victory list. … QB Nate Stanley has 25 TD passes this year, needing two more to tie Chuck Long (1985) for most in a season at Iowa. … The Hawkeyes have three games in which they tied the game or took the lead in the final two minutes.

BOSTON COLLEGE

Coach: Steve Addazio (5th season, 31-32; overall 7th season, 44-43).

All-time postseason: 14-11.

Last postseason appearance: Beat Maryland 36-30 in 2016 Quick Lane Bowl.

Draft spotlight: DE Harold Landry. Three-year starter from North Carolina plays both in a 2- and 3-point stance on the edge of the defense. Rarely drops into coverage, but has enough athleticism to project to short zone flat coverage. Plays very quick at the snap with a good motor. Read full report here.

Other Eagles to watch: OT Marcell Lazard, LB Ty Schwab, CB Isaac Yiadom.

Eagle Sightings: BC finished out its season by winning five of its last six outings, averaging 36 points per contest in that stretch. … RB A.J. Dillon was the ACC’s Freshman of the Year after rushing for 1,432 yards and 13 TDs. … BC is the first team since NYU in 1948 to play both Yankee Stadium and Fenway Park in the same year. The Eagles beat UConn earlier this year at Fenway.
